SEPTIC TANK INSPECTION BILL
Florida Realtors® is lobbying IN FAVOR  of SB 820
Onsite Sewage Treatment and Disposal Systems; Providing for any permit issued and approved by the Department of Health for the installation, modification, or repair of an onsite sewage treatment and disposal system to transfer with the title of the property; providing circumstances in which an onsite sewage treatment and disposal system is not considered abandoned; providing for the validity of an onsite sewage treatment and disposal system permit if rules change before final approval of the constructed system; providing that a system modification, replacement, or upgrade is not required unless a bedroom is added to a single-family home; requiring that the department provide certain guidance and technical assistance to a county or municipality upon request, etc. EFFECTIVE DATE: July 1, 2012

Registration for the Florida Realtors® PAC 3^rd Annual Major Investor Event at the Daytona International Speedway for the running of the Drive for COPD 300 on Saturday, February 25,  is now OPEN!   In order to qualify for attendance to this Major Investor event you must commit to a minimum payment of $500 of your 2012 investment.   



BPO CERTIFICATION & 6 CE CREDITS
Take NAR’s BPOR Certification class, submit your application and you will be placed on a panel to receive BPO orders for your local market. The average amount of orders for students at the end of 2011 was over 17 orders per month. As a reminder, December 31st, 2012 is the end of the current Quadrennial Ethics Cycle.  Each REALTOR® member is required to take 2 hours and 30 minutes of Ethics training in the preceding 4 year period.  The next Board hosted class with expert Bob Hartley is scheduled for Friday, February 10th, click here to register.  Online training is also available, click here.

Great American REALTOR® Days are two days set aside during Florida's legislative session when Realtors converge on the Capitol to voice their opinions on legislative issues.
