How to Add or Delete a Licensee (Agent) through DCPR 's Online Web Site

When a licensee changes offices, it is the responsibility of the gaining broker to assign the licensee to their office and the responsibility of the losing broker to delete the licensee from their office. If this does not happen, the licensee is still assigned to the old office.

It takes less than five minutes to add or deleted a licensee (agent) from your company by going on-line. It’s free, quick and official… there will never be a question of DBPR receiving a fax. It is the best defense if accused of not having an agent assigned to your company.

To add or delete a licensee to your office: Look up the licensees record first by and copy the license number for step 10 below.

  • Start at the DBPR On-line Services web page: https://www.myfloridalicense.com/Default.asp
  • Click on “Maintain Account” under USER SERVICES
  • LOGIN if you have an account or establish an account if not previously done
  • Your Account Summary will appear.
  • To add or delete an agent Click on “Maintain/Renew this license”
  • Your selected office license info page will come up.
  • Select “View/ Maintain Related Licensees”
  • A list of the agents (related licensees) active in your office will appear.
  • Scroll down to the end of the agents and click on ”Add a new relationship” and an instructions page will appear.
  • Step 1 Enter the license number of the agent to be added and click on “Find”
  • A page with the Licensee will appear: verify the information and Step 2: click on “Submit”
  • A page with a confirmation will appear that the licensee has been added to your company.
  • Print a copy for your records and FAX a copy to Pearlie at ECAR to her direct line 850-275-1073

To delete an agent, follow steps 1 through 8 above.

  • Fine the licensee to delete
  • Click on EDIT
  • The licensee will appear with instructions to click on Submit to delete.
  • A page with a confirmation will appear that the licensee has been deleted from your company.
  • Print a copy for your records and fax to 936-9718. 
  • This option is NOT available if a licensee is a Broker of another company.
