MISSION STATEMENT:

The Government Affairs Committee shall keep the NABOR membership informed on current government and political issues which affect the real estate industry at the local, state and federal levels.

Florida REALTORS® are the voice of real estate in the Florida legislature. Our Federal and State legislative teams, composed of dedicated REALTOR® members and staff monitor, review and evaluate proposed legislation and rules of law that affect REALTORS®, such as fair housing, agency, antitrust, etc.

Florida REALTORS® also prepare and advocate legislation proposed by and in the best interest of its members. Over the years, REALTORS® have enjoyed many legislative successes due to the work of their local and state associations.
